Ben Downing – Massachusetts State Senator / Local Art Exhibition

Since May 2007, Senator Downing's Local Artist Exhibition Program has offered artists from the 48 communities in the Berkshire, Hampshire and Franklin District two additional venues to display their work: his Pittsfield and State House offices.

This spring, summer and fall, Senator's Pittsfield office is pleased to host an exhibition by Lenox resident Sophie Breton. Breton’s oil paintings are inspired by the people in her life and Mother Nature. She finds the visual arts to be uplifting and inspirational and believes that one’s spirits can be lifted simply by gazing upon a work of art.

The office is open Monday - Friday during normal business hours; all are welcome to visit to enjoy the exhibition.

Senator Downing's State House office is decorated with the works of Berkshire County artist and sculptor John Stritch.
